The cottage is situated in mountain village Střibrnice (Šumperk district) in altitude 550 m above sea level, close to the Kralicky Sneznik massif.

Stříbrnice - mountain village first mentioned in 1325, in the past known by mining of silver. Part of village is settlement Nový Rumburk, founded in 1768 by settlers from Rumburk in nothern Bohemia. Stříbrnice is the last accessible village uder the peak of Králický Sněžník (1425 m above sea level). Surroundings appreciate especially hiking lovers, mountain bikers and skiers. For climbing the peak of Králický Sněžník you can use two marked route - long blue or shorter yellow.
